Well when you get raid primaries and secondaries you can use your exotic heavies. Thunderlord is much better than a lot of other exotics, leaps and bounds above the Song.

I have raid primaries and secondaries (Abyss Defiant, Light of the Abyss, Blackhammer and heavies HoC and Song). My heavy slot on the Crota Raid goes to Gjallarhorn. I'm not going to choose Thunderlord over that.

Edited by BMW E86: 4/6/2015 1:23:32 PMin the abyss I would if I was picking an exotic because proximity detonations on Gjally make it a stupid choice (I usually go with IB or MIDA though). That is one single part of the game. For any arc burn I run Thunderlord 100% of the time. And I run it a lot on bounties as well. It is a hard hitting scout rifle with firefly and a large mag. What more could you ask for?

I have two hard hitting scouts with Firefly (Rapier and NitC). I honestly don't need to waste a slot with Thunderlord.

Yup those are shit on arc burn. Even with a fang the thunderlord outshines. I have a badger, NITC and gheldons with firefly and I still use thunderlord cause it is worth it. If you don't have it leveled or haven't used it you don't really have any room to talk.
