I just got the Crux Of Crota myself playing the Hard Raid on my 2nd character. Because I was still seeing so many people with questions about how to get it, here's how: - Be sure to have both the Cryptographic shader and the Glowhoo shader in your inventory (If you do not have the Cryptographic in your inventory, you will get it along with Glowhoo from Hard mode crota which both take up the place of the Crux). - You do NOT need to have the Eidolon Ally with you or upgraded. You don't even need to have it/have the Husk Of The Pit. The drop is standalone. - You can't play the Hard Raid multiple times to get it. It drops just like the other loot so you can only get a chance 3 times a week (if you have 3 characters). - You do NOT have to be the swordbearer. In the run where I got it, I was the swordbearer, but me and someone else BOTH got the crux. Everyone has a chance to get it. - If you haven't beaten Hard Mode yet with your 2nd or 3rd character but you do have the Glowhoo shader, just give the Glowhoo shader to your 2nd/3rd character. This will give you a chance to get the crux first try. I hope this helps you guys, even though the gun isn't that perfect, it's still alot of fun to use and to play with. Good luck!
