If it weighs that much more than earth would wanna orbit the traveler. It would screw up our orbit around the sun and moon would be -blam!-ed too.

The Traveler is in a semi-active geosynchronous orbit with Earth. Due to its magical properties, it does not affect Earth's rotation or gravity in any known way. It is moving with us rather than Earth moving it. The only other known active properties of the Traveler, other than its floating, is the shielding it provides us around the Last City. TL;DR: Space magic.

Damn you space magic !!!

It would have to have an active core to create it's own gravity right? As far as I can tell, it's a dead structure held together by how it was first constructed. Oh no, i've gone crosseyed.....

Matter has it's own gravitational field. It's not an effect caused by large groups of it. Each particle has it. It only becomes noticeable in really large quantities. (Comparably) Technically you have gravitational pull. It's just minuscule compared or the gravity of earth and everything else around you.

Space. Freaking. Magic.

Oh no we'd all be dead

I don't think wight equals orbit

Mass = gravitational pull though
