Heroic: Exactly how low are the chances for a human to survive the augmentation process? Legendary: Do the Hunters respect every Covenant race? And if not which one DO they respect? And why?

If we talking about the spartan 2 process than it's is pretty low as the pain during the process is unbearable And the hunter respect the elites. I'm not really sure why but also during the civil war of the covenant the hunter sided with the elites but some stayed with the prophets for whatever reason that I do not know
