Why are you against weed?
I am simply curious as to what the more popular reasons are for people who are against the use of cannabis.
So if you are against it, what is your reason?

Im not against it I've smoked a few times and I don't think it's bad.

One of my friends got into it, and would bring it up and push a drug conversation onto me at least once a day when I'm [i]just[/i] not into weed, or any other drugs tbh. Kinda like if you hear so much about a show, that it gets annoying and you hate the show before you've even seen an episode of it.

Used for the anti-inflammatory, increased in appetite for cancer and AIDS patients, and pain management effects (cbd's, cannabinoid) rather than non-steroidal pharmaceutical drugs ( ibuprofen, Naproxen, vicodin. ..etc) is acceptable in my opinion. It is also less harmful for the liver and the stomach lining. Everyone will have their own opinion about this, whether they are educated on the subject or not. It's up to each individual to figure out if this is right for them. Some people will use it for recreation others will actually use it for medical reasons.

I think that it should only be used in moderation. For instance, if you're smoking everyday and there isn't a second where you aren't totally baked out of your mind then, in my opinion, you have a problem and should probably put the brakes on. If you smoke every once in a while just as a little pick me up or you just want to feel good for an afternoon then that's fine. But to each their own I suppose.

I am for weed however I do see some issues with the whole movement. >Weed is not a -blam!-ing CURE ALL! >Weed needs better regulation for the medical community. When is the last time you saw a doctor give a patient a prescription for poppies and expected them to extract the pain relieving opiates on a home stove? Dosages are not even controllable right now and the people who are using it medically are using it in such a unscientific way that it resembles holistic medicine rather than actual pharmaceuticals. >Stop taking your kids to rallies! >Stop denying the cons of using marijuana like addiction, accidents, hospital scares, lung health etc

I don't care because it's not like if it were suddenly legal I'd start smoking. But at least potheads would finally shut the hell up. Plus it's funny how burnouts talk about all its medicinal purposes. As if that's why they have all the hippie shit on their walls and all their shit smells like weed. Just keep it for 21 and up and stiff fines for DUIs.

Only the legality issue of it. I have a family and a mortgage to pay. A guy just quit last week cuz he knew he couldn't pass his random drug screening. If it were legal, I wouldn't have any problem with it.
