Why are you against weed?
I am simply curious as to what the more popular reasons are for people who are against the use of cannabis.
So if you are against it, what is your reason?

I couldn't care less about other people smoking it. What I do get tired of is the cult like chanting that it has no effect on the body or mind. It is a substance that alters thought and any inhaled smoke is bad.

I'm not against it, y'all can smoke if you want to. But all the people that I knew that smoked weed are like depressed emo kids. It left a bad impression on me. The kids probably didn't even like it, just did it to be "different" Idk man idk

5 RepliesPeople I know who smoke it, say it's not addicting. Until I hear them constantly saying they "wished they had some". Or if I refuse to smoke it, they'll defend it with their life and explain to me why its good and the best thing in the world. I don't want to end up like them, and I don't really care for the enhanced feeling.

7 RepliesBecause it is a gateway drug to the harder stuff. I once knew a kid who injected 4 whole maryjuanas. He couldn't even pray to Lord Jesus! Officer Jenkins saw how crazy he went and had to shoot him before he harmed himself! I can't even imagine what he would be like if he smoked the herowins or took the angel's dust. No sir! Stay away from any drugs. The bedt way is to get high on prayer!

I think if someone really wants to smoke it, it's fine. It's their life to live. It annoys the -blam!- out of me though how so many stoners get so defensive about weed if anything negative is said about it. These forums being a prime example.

I actually met a couple cool people in highschool (2004) by offering a smoke. "Hawhat!? Yall are burners!? No waaay!" Ten years later, we're like family. If I hadn't offered that tooch, I'd totally have missed out on some awesome times, and real good memories. They are the only three people I've stayed in contact with out of the class of about 200. Stand up dudes all around. What grinds my gears these days is the "stoner" stereotype. It's an utter misrepresentation of the culture as a whole. You see these people on couchlock. They need a good sativa. Fix that problem real quick lol.

I'm also just not into that "get high everyday" & "get buzzed" party life style. I can have a good time without those things and I personally don't need them to have fun. I don't hate anyone that does enjoy doing it tho, I have tons of friend that choose to live like that and I still love them

2 RepliesIt's not the fact of just smoking weed, it's the fact that they lace weed with a lot of other drugs. I guess I'm against it because I've seen people start with weed and end up worst. I don't want that to happen to everyone. I guess that's my opinion.

12 RepliesI just think that a lot of people use weed irresponsibly, especially because it's trendy. It leaves behind a bad smell. A lot of my friends smoke pot, but they're really polite about it. I've even been offered by a guy who was pretty cute before, but I'm a super innocent person(I am never in trouble ever ever [b]ever[/b])
