*Sighs*
"I can understand, it took me a while too.
Basically, a few thousand years ago on Earth, a child called Brian, was turned into an Sidhe girl. Brianna. She was adopted into the Royal family by the Queen, Aungahail. During one of Bri's escapades from the current leaders of the time, I was forced from her being. Literally, I was her shadow, and I was torn from her. Rent from the only place I knew.
For the next 5 years I wandered that planet, searching for others like me, free of their hosts.
I found none.
Eventually I was able to form a stable form, much like the one that I now have. But I was still weak, unable to defend myself from the terrors that lurked in the Darkness.
So I sought out the only one I knew I could trust, Aungahail. I met her while she was at her school, Whateley Academy, and asked her to return me to Whisper, but she refused. She then turned on me, thinking me a trick, some form of magic, but I was able to escape, if but narrowly.
100 years later, having fully formed myself a true stable body, the one you see today, I was found by Coyote, who gave me this hat.
He trained me in the art of smuggling, of cheating, and most of all, he taught me love, something I had not had for all the 100 years I had lived. He raised me as the daughter he never had, and I loved him as my father.
After I lost him, it was a long 1000 years before I could begin to love you beings of light, with such short lives, again."
*I look up, tears in my eyes*
"This is only the second time I have had to tell this story. And the first time, they rejected me out of disgust.
Brianna was that first."
