I have 3 32's and was smashing Atheon and Crota around on HARD mode with a fire team of lvl 31's whilst still be (at that time) a lvl 31 myself, noob?...I think not I was more unlucky not to receive certain pieces of armour

No man. Don't get it wrong. I know light level doesn't matter, mostly. But if you're Lvl 31 and grimoire above 1800, you should know that's no such thing as laser gun and magician in Destiny
