If xur sells gjallarhorn I will be upset, I finally earned it this week and nothing in destiny has rewarded me more than screaming, jumping up and doing the same dance I just set my hunter too, all while listening to the congrats from my raid team. Gjallarhorn is awesome- but let's leave some things to be earned

For those that want to feel that experience of watching Ghorn randomly pop out of a hat so they can feel like they hit the lotto plz don't buy it when xur sells it and just keep waiting with baited breath. As for me I'll make it rain on xur with so many strange coins he'll finally achieve richest bunny at the Hofs bunny ranch I'm the Nevada desert. Which is where he surely goes every Sunday morning after he leaves the tower.

I got mine this week from nightfall as well, my first one, and I've been playing since the beta. I was like you screaming, jumping, hugging my wife etc.. However, if Xur sells it I could care less. Everyone who earned their strange coins deserves it just as much as me getting it from the nightfall. Gjally isn't earned, its RND. Now Thorn or Bad JuJu is earned, for that I would agree and Xur will never sell those exotics.

I have 3 32s, been playing since day 1 and I still don't have it. Only exotic I need period, gun AND armor wise. You didn't earn it just like the -blam!-head that got one in my raid didn't earn it, he just got luckier than me. Again. But the thing g is he has only played since February. Is this fair? Hell no but neither is you getting one before me.

How about the guy from my group who joined us AT crota last night, shot a couple rockets, threw a couple grenades and watched our sword bearer DESTROY Crots McGoats - Ghorn dropped for him, and he said "man I just feel bad now, this is my sixth one." he knew a couple of us are still gally-less, but he didn't say anything about how much he out "earned" us. Just commented on the silly luck of rng. Bet you're one of those on here who don't believe strange coins are earned.

I say earned after running every raid and nightfall with the primary hope to get it- and no I never expected or thought xur should sell it- maybe truth- but not really cuz it would jack up the game, and try telling my wife I don't even play the damn game. Thank you tho for making me feel that much happier to light up a raid boss with my lucky rocket launcher.

"Earned it" is a pretty lame statement. You mean you got lucky and the RNG gods were nice enough to drop it for you. Some of us who have 500, 750, even 1000 hours plus of gaming on that game have never been so lucky. Plus wouldn't buying it from Xur also be "earning it?" You have to "earn" enough strange coins to be able to purchase the weapon. Strange coins don't just appear in my account. It's not like everyone in the game can just buy all the exotic stuff every week. I would be kind of disappointed if he did sell it mainly because PvE would be broken, kind of like why I don't want him to sell the Last Word because then PvP would be broken.
