Because it's the internet. People who are generally weak in reality find strength on the net because they believe it to be anonymous. Nothing digital is truly anonymous. Best advice, learn to just ignore people you recognize as being irrational or just hateful. Soon you'll just skip over their commentary like it wasn't even there. But, don't forget to report and block them.
