Never even heard of him. But I can never see a reason to make fun of an accent. If it's still understandable then no complaints here.

I don't make fun of accents but sometimes they are annoying, I went to a Brazilian restaurant and the waiter had such a think accent I had absolutely no idea what was going on or if I really was in a restaurant...
