I'm pretty sure we have all been there: The Strike starts, so you and one of your Companions runs forward. One however... stays behind. You wonder if he's just adjusting his gear, but he doesn't move. One minute goes by, and you can confirm you two are going to have to fight the entire Strike with one less player. This is just sad. Yes, I understand it is perfectly possible to two-man a Strike with the right people, but it is not as fun. Strikes are meant to be Three-Manned, and have been pretty much designed around this concept. Be honest here: We all have a lot more fun when we are playing with 2 other players than when an AFKer is present. Yes, you get a lot more kills when there is an AFKer, but it just feels... "Incomplete". To me, one of the best feelings of "Badassery" comes when I am cutting through a mass of enemies with my Bladedancer and I see a Nova Bomb being hurled at that Ultra in front of me. Then I back away and recover a bit inside a Ward Of Dawn and as soon as I am done, I go wreak havok using Weapons Of Light. With the recent Weekly Update, Bungie has started to to temporarily block AFKers from Strikes, Crucible Matches, etc... This could eventually become a permanent Ban for these Players, by the way. However, to be able to tell apart an AFKer from a normal Player, they need [u]our[/u] assistance! [b][i][u]If you are matched up with an AFKer, REPORT him for Inactivity.[/u][/i][/b] This is the best tool we have to fight against these Players. Just open the Player Interaction Menu and select "Report", choose "Inactivity" and then "Ok". It is an important tool which I don't see a lot of people using, to be honest... Also, remember that you can also Report people for [i]Positive[/i] things! Aspects such as being "Friendly" or "Highly Skilled" are among the options in this tool!
