Seventh Conflux Flood Topic Train Ep 2

4 RepliesGreat idea Prometheus. 2 things though. 1. Why not make 5 separate threads instead of one with 5 questions? There's a lot of users here sick of AMAs and religious/political flame wars. 2. We really need to know the rules for #offtopic. In the past 2 months people are getting banned for anti-feminist comments, anti Christian threads and using phrases like OP is a -blam!- and bypassing the profanity filter. What I want to know is, why are anti Christian/feminist threads being deleted and not the anti atheist/gay ones. In my case, my anti-Christian thread was a parody of an anti-gay thread. It died 2 months ago. I replied to every comment saying it was a dead parody thread but still got a ban for it. Similarly I got banned about a week ago for bypassing the profanity filter and saying OP is a -blam!-. I know this is against the CoC, but in the 7/8 months I've been here it's been acceptable in the flood. Hell, it's part of our culture. I saw one guy get banned for posting spongebob squarepants 4 times in the same comment chain. Granted it could be classed as spam, but the guy was singing the theme song with me! So yeah, have the rules changed for this part of the forum? Are you just enforcing the CoC more? Could you let us know? Or track down the person who's doing this and stop them? I'd feel a lot safer posting if I knew what was going to get me banned.
