Lol@ the last sentence. And I realize that gally does more damage, I was just wondering if three truth shots (that's what fits on a mag) could do it also. Either way you are right, it isn't really a boss melter. If xur sold it, I would also help my friends get it. I don't think that destiny will continue to release content for the next 10 years. Maybe 1 or 2, and there will always be a great supply of beginners and hardcore grinders that will never leave, like myself. What gun is it that you want him to sell? You were a bit mysterious about that.

  • Thunderlord it's the only exotic I'm missing besides 4th horse shit haha I did see another argument about bungie might have xur sell gally like a.week before HoW to get players back in game

  • I still believe he is somewhat random.

  • I don't know I used to think that but the week he repeated exotics (17 and 21?) I saw some math genius run the numbers and the odds were like 15000 to 1 on that time frame, also the way some exotic armours keep poping up (void fang vestments sun breakers) makes me think it's weighted towards bottom tier exotics. Back to our origional discussion do you think the exotic heavies are balenced? You seem to be a fan of that truth.

  • The existence of that chance still supports the idea that it is random. Yes, truth is a very good weapon and it is well balanced. It is about as good as gjallarhorn but in different ways. However, dragon's breath is one of my least favorite weapons. It has a huge blast radius, but the lack of tracking makes it a bit hard to use. Also, the solar grenade was a huge disappointment to me. If it stuck to the enemy, that would be awesome. However, enemies tend to just walk away and completely avoid it.

Yea I like dragon's breath as I got it before my gally and truth (1st nightfall of ce) I don't mind the lack of tracking what bugs me is that it's velocity is so slow you can't really dumbfire it. But the flare is decent if you can pin rockets mcdick face on the corner it does excellent damage. It can actually out hit a gally by like 800 damage if you make them stay in the flare. Where people go wrong is not looking at launchers as clip weapons, what I mean is hiw much damage can I do without reloading, so with truth and dragon's breath you get tripod which 3 rockets will -blam!- alot shit up haha. My irl friend with less than 100 hours got truth last night from crota and he was -blam!-ing pumped. I do think that blast radius should play onto hiw much damage a launcher can do that would help bring the other launchers up to gallys level

  • I don't know why but I always seem to have trouble keeping them in the solar grenade. Yes, the velocity is kind of slow. And yes, the clip does affect the overall damage output in a given time! People don't get this lol. Thank you for being logical.

  • Yea their pragrammed to walk out of it, for bosses I like to just put all 3 rockets into them all around him so no matter where they go their getting hit. I'll switch to dB for a couple points in the raids stationary they just soak up the damage haha. Yea thank you for being logical too its so rare to find that on these forums haha

  • It works pretty good with my lock and angel if light you can usually put 2 into the boss pretty ez the dragon's breath has the highest rof of all launchers so it's easy if you can trap an enemy between 2 rockets it does surprisingly high amount of damage
