I also believe thunderlord will be important. And I think they also might push dlc weapons for a while, but I hope he sells it for my friends who have not gotten one.

Agreed, when I think of rarity, I think of the individual not the community. Over a long enough timeline, everyone should be able to have everything (say...750 hours). Xur helps offset RNG by selling exotics that don't drop. I know the pain of waiting...still waiting on Thunderlord and Crux. It's a game, no one's special.
