The problem I have is not when a person with 900+ hours buys it from XUR. I have a problem when a -75 hour level 25 buys GHORN because the fact that they both can have the same gun after 800+ hour difference bothers me.

  • That can happen right now! My buddy got his ghorn from a purple engram in Dec and I just got mine. Months apart. tenure means nothing.

  • If you had 75 hours after a week you were ahead of everyone else and therefore deserve the (arguably) best gun in the game.

  • Well he sold it on week two i believe. No body was a vet by then and most bought it, so ya i think new and old should get the chance to buy it again.

  • Therefore you completely disregard the struggle of the 900 hour vet? Doesn't sound fair to me. Who cares if noobs get it? They won't always be noobs.

  • If a noob is on the same level as the vet there is a serious issue. This is not a way to treat players. If you have more hours in litteraly any other game you are rewarded, but not in destiny. Vets should be rewarded not noobs, and the fact that noobs can buy stuff from XUR also bother me. XUR should only be accessible for people that have spent a lot of time on the game. Guns should cost at least 45 and armor 30 coins.

  • Some noobs being better than vets also bothers me, but that is what destiny is. It's all luck. Xur should be and is for everyone. Everyone deserves stuff if they bought the game.

  • It shouldn't be instant though. After basically a week or two of playing destiny people are able to afford exotics from XUR. That doesn't make sense to me; XUR should be for the vets to be able to acquire gear.

  • Yea but vets are able to buy several exotics every week. I did for a while. All of the noob friends I have are able to buy a weapon every two weeks or so. Or an arnor piece a week.
