It shouldn't be instant though. After basically a week or two of playing destiny people are able to afford exotics from XUR. That doesn't make sense to me; XUR should be for the vets to be able to acquire gear.

Yea but vets are able to buy several exotics every week. I did for a while. All of the noob friends I have are able to buy a weapon every two weeks or so. Or an arnor piece a week.
