Black hammer and necrochasm don't have a yellow outline >=[

What does the yellow outline mean??

Black hammer cant be fully upgraded, because it has a perk that has been disabled (hive disruptor, it messes up white nail) and thus cant be completed (unless you did so before the patched it). Heres hoping necro suffers the same and still has some secret to be unlocked, because right now it just sucks.
