Yeh break the monotony with horde mode. More diversity in the choice of repatition, patrol, a strike or maybe a horde mode shooting gallery session. Cant think of a mode more repetitive than horde mode, there is enough of that in the story missions.

But a horde mode gets progressively difficult, allowing for me to have fun and a real challenge.

... But you could say the same for many FPS games. 'Ya go around, you wait, ya shoot enemies". Just saying.
