I prefer objective based gameplay rather than kill as many til you die. Anybody who'd take this over a raid is kidding themselves.

How about both? When all is said and done we will have more raids as well as other end game content to choose from. Same with Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris. Variety is the spice of life.

You'll get no argument from me there. I just don't think it's okay to substitute one for another especially when so many people were looking forward to a new raid.
