With all the criticism from the game world about Destiny having a lack of content and being money hungry for their DLC one would think that the community deserves a little break, one would think.
I am both excited and upset about the HoW announcement but the one thing I can't stop thinking about from a PR stand point is why in the hell would they not want to build a tiny bit of good will here?
If Bungie had announced a new mode, a new raid and the rest of the content for all season pass holders and not raised the price of this DLC (when you purchase it separately from the season pass) then it would have done wonders for this game, this community and especially these forums (which is drenched in negativity right now).
Instead they continue to alienate players (announcing last min that there is no raid is borderline trolling), they continue to have a lack of content in their DLC (one new mode and zero raids does not equal "more content") and they continue to roll things out in a manner that says "we don't care what the majority of the community wants, we are Destiny, you're not".
A smile, a wave, a new raid on our DLC with the "extra content" can go a long way is all I am saying and it seems that Bungie has forgotten all about spreading a little good will.
