Anyone else not crying about a raid?
It's so dumb to be pissed about raids.
I glad there's arena instead of raid. I'm tired of busting my ass grinding the same raid for loot that pisses me off cause It won't drop. Arena will be fun, new and different. I'd rather it instead of another raid that will eventually piss me off and get boring. I only play the raids for loot.
I get in, get loot, and I'm done with that raid for good. Which is why I don't do Hard CE anymore. Raids are not fun anymore IMO and my friends seem to agree (except the boss fights when crota and atheon aren't being laggy SOBs). Horde mode However seems more like something you would WANT to replay.
Then there are these -blam!-tards in #Destiny complaining about it. Obviously it isn't ready if it isn't coming out, would you rather they pushed an unfinished buggy piece of shit excuse for a raid out the door? It could end up cheesed more than Crotas end or God forbid laggier than VoG.
I don't give a shit how long it takes. I don't even care if it never comes out at all. Arena seems much better.
I'm tired of raids and need something different. Arena is it.
And another thing, arena will be so much easier, so little of the Destiny fan base actually raid, or has time to raid. Having arena wont force people to raid with randoms and assholes. Those who don't have clans can just jump into arena with two friends instead of waiting for ever in orbit getting a group from #Recruitment together.
All this Crying about a raid is so dumb, and if you don't like it just leave already. Crying won't make it come out faster, and I'm pretty sure other people are getting tired of hearing it.
Anyone else agree at least a little?

I still want a raid, yeah shot me or do whatever I don't care, I'm not a fanboy or want more HALO in this game, the prison is fun, but I still rather have a raid.

I'm fine with it but definitely don't this to be something for every expansion. I hope they update the prison of elders each expansion and add a Raid. That would awesome

At first I was upset, but I honestly think it might actually be a good thing. It gives them time to make a decent and (hopefully) bug-free raid.

5 RepliesDefinitely agree brother... I've raided over 100 times (both raids) and it's just not fun anymore... We definitely need a new "Major NON-RAID Game Mode" before a more complete, intense, tougher & complex RAID comes out... sure i'll go visit Crota & Atheon every week still but it will still be nice to just enjoy something a little bit different from the rest and get loot/rewards from it.... I have everything this game has to offer, from all the weapons & armor (exotics) and i still play every day just for fun... Can't wait for this to come out... Bring it on BUNGIE :)

1 ReplyId rather have trials of Osiris plus the new three man pve mode than 1silly raid which you clear the first week lol. Raids in destiny are to freaking easy and get Boring after 1-2clears. You dont need to farm them because old weapons can perform just as Good so you dont need to gear up for the next raid or event. Thus raids become Boring quick they have no goal. The new pvp mode and pve mode sound awesome because they have replayability. This is the best thing bungie has done. Raids in destiny fail,they need new to try new stuff. I'm predicting prism of elders Will be something allong the lines of Mass effect online mode which was epic as -blam!-!! Played that for countless of hours. For raiding I plAy world of warcraft, where gearing up is needed so raids dont feel useless.

This means one of two things about the next raid - it'll be a free download, or it'll be a paid DLC tied to another expansion. Which do you think Activision prefers? I disagree with you. Consider me one of the rare few who can completely understand why paying customers feel a little upset and let down.

1 ReplyWell I've asked several people, so far no-one has answered, so I'll ask you. What is new or exciting about an arena? Areas with large amounts of enemies isn't ground breaking. To some of your other statements. What makes you think you don't be grinding the arena for gear? I'm all for waiting to see what happens, I'm not thrilled about it but I'm waiting to see.

I really do enjoy raiding so I'm kind of ticked that there's not a raid but I'm hopeful that the Prison of Elders will be a cool and exciting twist on the standard raid scene. So nonetheless I'm still going to give it a try. I just hope that raid down the line will be the shizzle.

1 ReplyI enjoy the rades it is a good way of working on team diversity. One of the problems i see is trying to ceep evry thing relitivly equal ruining the incentive to put real efort into it. So you get those random killing the selfs for no reasen. There so much going on the old platform cant handle it making things more fustrating. With that being said i do look forward to something whair you can get good reward solo play as it is hard to find a team.

Depends how good the arena is. Even if it's bad, It wont make me want to quit. If you don't like an activity, don't do it!

Bungie a sneaky. They always have tricks up their sleeves. They do like to give back to the community. Example Multiple bungie days in the halo games.
