Edited by Regret: 10/18/2015 12:05:05 PMits rаpe. All you disgusting male pigs just want to stare at the girls and rаpe them, its disgusting. Why cant females be allowed to show off their bodies without being rаped verbally, physically or mentally? I blame the patriarchy for the way the world is now.

At my high school, nobody even cares about cheerleading. Since anyone can join, there are 3 really obese people in the cheerleading squad and their coordination is so bad it's not even funny.
-
Just like dancing it's not a sport
-
#feminism #justgirlythings
The levels of stupid have never been so strong
-
A SPORT involves a BALL, offense, defense. If you don't have any of these things you are simply a talent... And are too shameful to admit you can't play sports
-
Takes more energy and skill than hunting.
That said so does opening a tin of beans...
-
If cheerleading is a sport, then marching band is a sport.
-
Well that shit seems tiring AF. And I hear that you people do compete. Requires teamwork. Id say it's a sport.
-
Why would a sport be supporting another sport on the sidelines? You don't see cross country athletes running on the sideline of a basketball game. If it's supporting a real sport, it probably isn't a sport.
-
More of a sport than fishing

Edited by VeIkro: 10/19/2015 12:33:01 AMThe sex of the individuals has nothing to do with it not being a sport, it just isn't a sport.
-
Sideline = no Competitive = yes
-
It involves a lot of gymnastics, which is a sport, so I'm saying yes.
-
More of a sport than gaming or golf, that's for sure.
-
No. The definition of a sport says that it must have physical exertion, require skill, and an individual or team must compete against another. There is no competing in cheerleading.
-
Depends, if it's a cheer team that just goes to basketball/football than probably not. But if they go to cheer competitions and such than I'd say yes
-
At competition yes. At sporting games no.
-
It's as much a sport as golf. So no, not really
-
If gaming is then why the hell is cheerleading not?
-
Lol at the people who think there aren't cheerleading competitions
-
If it is then I demand dodgeball be a sport as well

Edited by mrhal: 10/18/2015 3:53:27 PMCompetitive cheerleading is a sport.Cheerleading for a game on the sidelines is not. Also just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they are sexist. And the feminism tag. You couldn't have made it worse.
-
Is being a stripper a sport? Just because you dress like a slut but can do a spilt doesn't mean you're an athlete. Strippers can do that too.
-
Competitive cheer is, definitely. Not game cheerleading.

Edited by Tinker (Chloe): 10/18/2015 11:06:40 AMWow, flame bait right here in your edit. The fact is that cheerleaders do not compete agains't each other at all. Therefore they are entertainment, not a sport.
Also the fact is that cheerleading is a female only activity. That means that cheerleading is highly sexist. This is shown in your post where you assume that people are being sexist by opposing your opinion. An assumption that would not exist if you did not have the idea that cheerleading is a female-only activity.
Competitive cheerleading - yes. Cheerleaders on the sideline at a sporting event - no
those are just classier strippers
