Airbending needs a bigger nerf than that, you need air to live bruh, no oxygen and you die.
Not to mention they can fly and remove their spirit from their body and essentially -blam!- around with people as a ghost.

Blood bending can remove someone else's ability to bend. So even if you suck the air from my lungs, I'd have a good 25-30 seconds to take away your bending and leave you a bloody mess.
