after 5 characters and over 740 game hours, I literally got ALL of the above guns in the last 8 days!! 4 months of terrible luck and then they all dropped one after another since I started playing again. (took a month off due to sheer bordom). hell I got the Vex the day before yesterday on my first VOG hard completion! :-/ so I'm not sure if it's luck or what to call it.

I have almost every exotic in the game and i just recently started doing the tougher stuff like CE, Nightfall, Weekly heroic Only things im missing are what i've passed up on: Plan c, dragons breath, necro.(haven't got the crux would scrap it if i did tho!) I had the same luck with vex. My very first raid, period, was vog hard mode. Dropped fatebringer and vex. I was dead probably 50% of the raid lol. Guys just really wanted to carry me and show me the raid the first time. Pretty nice folks out there

Over 740 game hours and you just had your first VoG hard completion last week? Think your lack of exotic drops makes sense.

I got the game after the dlc. so there was no need to play vog when CE gear was superior. But, turns out I was mistaken. I looked on LG last night and it said I've actually completed VOG HM 9 times. which makes sense, since I had 8 universal remotes. :-/

but I wouldn't mind someone breaking down what hard light and thunderlord are good for. I haven't tried them yet since I have so many other goodies to upgrade.
