What should I try to keep my equip load under? And is it normal that all of the heide knights are aggroed after killing the dragon rider?

Go for 50% for optimal roll/backstep length. Unless you prefer to block.

Under 70%. Yes. If you have a sword with the riposte thrust they are a REALL sucker for it, you can spam it until they die, they have no defense against it, even the lance knight on the way to the slayer.

Under 70% so you don't fat roll. The knights aggro after one is hit I believe.

I had so much trouble with Heide's since I killed the Dragonrider before trying to get to the Old Dragonslayer -.- The Heide Knights and Old Knights would gank spank me hard.
