Judging by the backlash on the forums when the news was released a substantial amount of people wanted a new raid.
You yourself being a true "raider" surely would have wanted one as well. Maybe you are a bungie fanboy

Nah, gathering up 6 people every Tuesday is getting harder every week. I only do it for the drops and gear with better attributes. I'm down for whatever drops gear and guns next dlc to be honest. A new mode might be refreshing, give it a chance. PS: forum users are a small minority. The gamers I play with weren't even phased when we found out there was no new raid, we were actually excited for the unknown

And raids don't get boring? I'm bored to death killing aetheon and crota 6 times a week but I'm a slave to the rng drops. Also it's my duty to help my friend get a gjallahorn he's a beta guy and still no gjallahorn, it's getting frustrating
