Soooo, recently got SMITE and to put it bluntly I'm terrible, hell, I'm terrible at MOBA's in general. I can understand how to play them, and I'd like to think I'm a pretty good videogamer when it comes to everything else. But when it comes down to the nitty gritty stuff that can give you distinct advantages like advanced mechanics, in depth stat calculating, and all of rest of it in MOBAS I'm terrible (What can I say? I like simplicity). So I guess what I'm asking is does anyone with it on Xbox one want to take me "under there wing" and get me competing with the pro's? It just has to be playing with me, suggesting what characters go well with what, what I should be buying, when I should be doing such and such etcetera. Thanks. GT StarStarFruiT
PS, I'd appreciate a lack of abuse on this matter, as I already know how harsh MOBA communities can be to newcomers, "He doesn't like having to think for once in his life" or "GG, uninstall noob and kill yourself" being a few shining examples of what I've had from gamechat on the insufferable DOTA and LOL. MOBAs can be beyond intimidating to newcomers. There are too many seasoned veterans around who have no desire to help bring newbs into the fold.

Edited by brandorobot: 4/23/2015 2:01:30 PMI'm not that good at them but my only advice that I learned for these games in the beginning would be to play defensively and always stick behind the minions/creeps/whatever, don't stray too far from the towers alone, etc. If you choose a mostly ranged champ you can kind of pick and poke at the enemies health and just bide your time until you can catch them. Oh and I've never played Smite I'm just basing it off other MOBAs I've played.

I can't take anyone under my wing, due to being a fledgling myself, but I'm down to team up with more people. Honestly I prefer Arena over Conquest, I'm not so good at 3 lanes yet. My gt is my name, hit me up if you want. I work nights tho, so I usually play in the morning after work and only sometimes in the evening if I can't sleep.
