As I'm seeing a lot more petrified enemies, where are all these damn branches of yore at? I've only found enough to open some major paths. Am I missing something or a place to buy them? There were never this many in DS2 on the 360.

They usually cover up weapons and armor that make you very strong for that point in the game For example, the doubled up petrified knights after the manscorpion have the black knight halberd in a chest. After going down the elevator in heides tower of flame you have to use another branch to get the knight armor which is in my opinion good for most of the early game.

I know right, in some of the randomest places to. Merchants forest giants & and iron keep, After sinner, getting into blood Gulch on left, after freja kill the noble, man scorpion tark, beginning of harvest valley I believe, and in undead crypt near boss I think. All I can remember off the top of my head

Thanks I'll check those out. Killing tark won't hinder me in any way story wise?

Nah it won't, he just gives you the branch and the 2nd dragon ring after you killed freja. Otherwise kill away lol

Okay cool. Didn't kill him on the 360 version so wasn't sure.
