That's not exploiting a game mechanic like despawning the enemies at crota's bridge though, don't you think?

Ya It's not like that but patching it shouldn't be a big deal. You literally can't lose from up there.

You can from Randal snipers...

Hobgoblins will one shot you as well. You are by no means untouchable up there. Most everything will make its way up to as well except the Hydra's. I don't consider sniping the most efficient way to handle that part for these reasons.
