I don't agree with the op but not all pvpers rush with shotguns, although I've done that in the nightfall to great success!

A LOT do though. I'd like to see how well players do if you weren't allowed to use exotics too. I feel like having thorn can make a shit player reasonably good.

Eh, you still have to hit your shots. I do equally well with all weapons. I dropped 29/9 today with Timur's lash!

I know just saying that's all there's skill in pvp and pve. P.s I rushed using fourth horseman on sepkis last week with lightswitch it was very gun. I died alot lol.

Hitting your shots takes no skill with a shotgun considering you need to get near point blank range. If you miss from there.....

I was talking about thorn. But I've tried a shotgun running style and gotten wrecked by people that are good with it. There is some amount of skill that goes into it.

I don't think so. It's pretty easy to slide in and trigger on anything you see. Even thorn though three body shots is a kill. That is ridiculous. You can be awful and still get way better kills then a better player using a legendary.

I three shot people with ease using any hand cannon and I outgun people using thorn all the time. It's the player not the gun.

Mate so can I, a three headshot kill takes skill. A three bodyshot kill, which is what thorn is, does not. In truth for PvP in destiny to be truly competitive you should be using the same guns, it's not really comparable otherwise.

I don't think destiny should be highly competitive. The variables and diversity makes it fun. I've played halo PvP since '02 and while I loved the extremely balanced competitive play I really enjoy the dynamics of destiny. And even though it takes three shots plus the dot to kill with thorn, it's the same ttk as four shots body shots with another hc. You still have time to kill them while the dot ticks away.
