You spend $6,500 a year before 9 a.m. lol You spend $12,500 a year by default on fast food. Damn, you must have your priorities straight. I spend $1.27 on a full meal (2 Eggs, Hash browns, 2 strips of bacon, and a morning cup of coffee.) I then proceed to pack my lunch for only $3.25 which includes a filling turkey sandwich with the work with a side of soup and of course my favorites soda. By the time I come home from work, I guess by default I've spent $4.52. See, there is this thing called budgeting and many people like to save money and not just throw it at $4 breakfast sandwiches or energy drinks. If you purchase something and don't get what you paid for, you have every right to complain. TL;DR OP doesn't know how to budget, and if you pay for something you get what you paid for.

  • People budget relative to what they can spend. Ever stop to think OP can afford to spend more than you? #brokedick

I'm 21 years old and me and my fiance make $110k a year and we are both part time and going to school. I have 1 year left and I'll have my BA in Electrical Engineering and I'll be heading to the airforce, she is in law school and will be done in 2.5 years now, but wait let's compare 'brokedicks'. I'm just making a point, OP is reckless with money. I have my own investment portfolio and put away 15% of my pretax income into my 401k. Oh and did I mention I'm part time?

  • I call bullshit on this. But if it is true enjoy the pay cut joining the air force.

I'm a part time sales rep at cell provider, so is my fiance. We are both top performers in our district, of course you call BS because you are nobody. I've gone through the whole topic without talking about what I make, reason being is it doesn't matter, 10k a year or 100k a year, you still don't waste money.

  • Pretty sure #offtopic was created for posts like this. I doubt too many of us are here to have an in-depth discussion on lifestyle choices. Can't we just play some video games and talk about it, without turning into judgemental pricks? No one cares about your $4 sandwiches and why you can justify buying them.

  • You're right, if you buy something you get what you pay for. Bungie never said there was a raid in HoW. Any mention of a raid was players hyping it up themselves. So you're getting what you paid for.

Did I ever once mention fast food? Is the stereo type that real on someone who plays video games thar because I'm ordering take out at work, it's -blam!-ing mcdonalds? I'm normally getting some sort of wrap, grilled chicken and vegies, or a good salad. See there's a thing called relativity. I hate to be a prick but 20-30 bucks a day for me is budgeting.

He shit on nobody. If i made 35 grand a year maybe his point would be valid. I'm glad I have a father that taught me that making anything less than a 100 grand a year = 0 financial freedom.

I'm glad I have a father that taught me that making anything less than a 100 grand a year = 0 financial freedom.[/quote] How old are you and what do you do for a living? The average American makes what $65k a year and spends $1200 a year on out food, if you make $100k a year pretax you spend at least $12,500 a year on just the daily grind. You make 6 figures so I'm assuming you have a 401k, insurance, a car, and a house. So let's figure after taxes, your 401k, and insurance, your take home pay is about $50-60k a year which means you spend 25% of your take home pay on 'daily grind' don't make me lol. I love people like you who think because they make 6 figures that they have no financial obligations for their future. This is exactly why you believe Bungie is allowed to do this.

I'm 31 and I gross just under 200. Does that clarify my "awful spending habits"? I have 2 cars, and a 401k I've been dumping heavily into since 19. I don't own a house by choice and only that. A 1000 square foot house, that's attached on both sides is 950k where I live...so I just can't justify spending that. I'm in the process of relocating to get out of this over priced dump for that very reason. Making good money doesn't make me better than anyone. But I sacraficed a ton in my 20's to be at this point...which is mt point. If 15 bucks hurts that bad, instead of gaming, work on bettering your future.
