Ran archon last night. I sniped from the left(facing) of the door after activating it. Good cover and nice field of view. Only a couple of spots I couldn't hit because of rocks. Other guys were near the hobgoblin cave. Cruised through with no issue. The door is almost as good a sniping spot and it doesn't trigger the glitch.
