That's bs, playing video games isn't so much of a luxury that poor people should be deprived of the experience altogether. There are plenty of video games that are affordable. And if even the ones they choose to play aren't affordable then it's a thing called saving that allows them to splurge on such things like video games. U have no right to tell someone they shouldn't be playing video games, especially since you have unhealthy and expensive habits yourself. Video games are a hobby for people, and you should always have the freedom to do what you want in life. Mental happiness/health is very important to having a quality life. If you deprive yourself of things you like to do most you'll find yourself ending up depressed or at the very least in bad mental health. I was in that very predicament in my teen years. I'm not saying playing video games is a life necessity, but I am saying if someone chooses to play video games while barely making enough to survive, it's a reason for that. And putting their 5$ in the bank will not make them happier at the end of the month when they have a whopping 100$ saved from depriving their selves of life's joys. Gaming is a luxury yes, but that doesn't mean only the rich should have access to it. So this trend of overpriced games need to stop.
