Just fight them where you are intended to it isn't that hard

Who says Bungie intended for us to fight them down the bottom? They put the rocks and sniper rifles in the game, I've always been under the impression we were allowed to use them. Plus, those Hobgoblins only have to hit you once to kill you, which makes it damn hard to solo this weeks Nightfall.

If you use logic you can discern that trying to snipe enemies that can't shoot you back in your advantages position probably isn't the way bungie intended you to win this "fight."

Except that's how sniper rifles are always meant to be used; swords generally aren't used to fly through the air and despawn enemies.
