Red Hand IX is a decent cannon when fully upgraded. Nice having explosive rounds. Great gun to have in your loadout behind thorn/hawkmoon/the last word when you want to switch to an exotic heavy or special. Its nowhere close to being as good as them but makes for a decent substitute. I've seen many say it's the best faction hand cannon in the game and so far I can't disagree. A lucky rolled Timurs Lash would be the only legendary I'd switch it out for.
