I'm a football man (soccer for you Americans out there) I do enjoy watching hockey (just for the fights lol) but no sporting event on earth even comes close to the world cup :p

If the field was 1/2 the size the sport would be much more tolerable.

No because the game would be impossible to play, there would be no space what so ever for the players to do anything. If you ever make it to Europe seriously just go to a game I guarantee you wil love it. You may or may not enjoy the actual match but the atmosphere alone at most stadiums is just incredible. I go every week it's just a mad drinking session and a sing along lol.

I should've said half the players need to go as well. I'm sure seeing the game in person especially in Europe would be a spectacle like no other. I just don't find the sport that interesting. All the people taking dives the length of time to set up plays just doesn't do it for me. But if it's your thing that's awesome and I respect that

Hmm. What could be more interesting than 90 minutes of idiots kicking a ball up and down a huge field, rarely scoring despite the net being the size of a frigging semi? Answer: everything. Even basketball. Even Formula 1. Hell, even NASCAR.

Ok no need to get insulting, to each there own. But if you want to talk about idiots then let's talk about the superbowl, or just nfl in general for that matter. Why is it called football? They clearly run around with the ball in there hands the whole time and the game stops every 30 seconds and takes about 3 hours to finish! Seems pretty idiotic in my opinion. You should try watching rugby, it's kind of like the nfl except it's played by men.

Plz dont talk about Football talk about a suck sport like Golf or lacrosse. In my opinion soccer is boring to watch but really fun to play kinda like baseball, and basketball, and football.

Hockey is the best sport, period. It combines speed, skill, and physicality not seen in any other sport. The only downside to hockey is that the regular season is too long. But the playoffs make up for it.

Football requires all of those things....Ok maybe not as much as a physical presence as hockey but you still need it. Not to mention the fitness levels required to run up and down that huge pitch for 90 minutes. I am in no way dissing hockey or any other sport you guys enjoy, but the best sport in the world is just a matter of opinion that's all. I work with a Canadian girl and she is telling me about the hockey all the time, sounds like it would be amazing to go to a game and hopefully one day I make it across that big pond to witness it first hand.
