Geocentricism was a theory too with proven evidence, until it's a law then it's not a fact; learn your semantics.

No all they had was what they could see from our perspective. The sun goes up, the planets go around. Into was until we could actually observe more closely with telescope that we found geocentricism was false. A scientific theory is a proven hypothesis, once something is a theory in science, for example gravity, cells, atoms, it is a fact.

Yes I understand that, my point exactly. It was the prevailing theory until they had more technology to observe what was actually occurring; same with evolution, it may be a prevailing theory but by no means is it fact until more evidence and technology turns it into a law or otherwise.

Yes, however this isn't just look up, there's the sun. The Earth is the center of the universe. This has been reviewed by thousands of universities and scientists, for years and years, it has direct observations of change in species, the evidence in our DNA alone is enough to prove it. But there is so much more than that. A theory in science is not a conceptual theory, if there was a hierarchy in science, a theory would be above the law. The laws of gravity are within gravitational theory.
