Warning: Watching this video requires you to have an attention span longer than 30 seconds. If you really can't sit still and listen for 30 mins then he does a quick TL;DW in the final 10 mins of the video, which will probably counter any ridiculous argument you might have against the irrefutable points he has made.
I actually found this video pretty inspiring, but also quite depressing at the same time. It has definitely asserted my position that pre-ordering H5 would be the wrong thing to do as a responsible consumer, not to mention someone who loves Halo. The video makes me depressed due to the undeniable facts that he provided about population numbers and how low they must be for MCC (lower than BF4 which came out 18 months ago).
On the plus side, H5 pre-orders are currently rather pathetic and the Halo fanbase clearly didn't enjoy the beta due to the average playtime they put into it (2.5 hours). So hopefully H5 will sell like shit and the Halo fanbase will actually begin to get treated with some respect again in order to revive it.
So now I expect the usual pathetic responses of '>logfish' and people calling me a hater. But if you actually feel like engaging your brains for a second, I challenge you to try and refute the points made in the video (you can't).
P.S. I'm even going to put up a poll so I can see what proportion of people on this site hate Halo and what proportion actually want to see it survive.
Thanks for your time

Edited by Space Jesus: 4/24/2015 4:24:44 AMI have read the books and have played from Halo: Combat Evolved all the way to Halo:MCC. I am definitely preordering this game and I absolutely adore the franchise. The guy did make some interesting points, but I prefer to preorder my limited collectors edition considering they sell pretty quickly. Judging by playing the beta, the game was actually really fun for the multiplayer. If someone does preorder it though, you can't just go and assume they hate Halo because they actually support it. I do think though that this guy wants to shove his opinion down our throats. It's our money, if we want to preorder Halo and keep it going then we will and if you don't preorder it then that is fine with me, just don't go telling other people that they shouldn't preorder Halo 5 because then they will hate Halo. Seems like to me the people who do preorder it support the game more than the people who don't preorder, especially the people who try to force other people to not preorder something they like. Just leave us be. Truly if we preorder it doesn't mean we hate it, it just means that we want to keep the game going and to continue being made.
