I just read an interesting article (albeit virtually free of content) highlighting the fact that the latest COD to be announced will be copying Deus Ex. Now, Deus Ex can hardly be said to have originated the interesting sci-fi concepts it revolves around, but its certainly the most successful game to explore this concept.
Anyways, your thoughts?

Edited by Krickaliciousdf: 4/26/2015 1:53:36 AMDoes deus ex have an amazing multiplayer? I don't think so

lets see. futuristic human augmentations - check divided society over issue of said augmentations - check Military contractors who use the technology to create Super Soldiers - check futuristic setting and weapons technology - check. asking "how far will we go before we become robots?" - check yep, it clearly copies the plot from Deus Ex, BUT... because it's CoD, it will have worse dialogue and bigger explosions and other things that give rednecks a "freedom boner". 'MURICA!

If you mean it is using a similar unoriginal premise? Then yes. But it will make a more interesting version of it I imagine.

In no way shape or form is it a bad thing for Blops 3 to have the same premise as deus ex. It's not like it's a highly visited area in gaming apart from deus ex and maybe 1 or two other games. I think people should wait and see it actually come out before they pass judgements.

Well you blatantly copied someone else's post so who are you to judge.
-
Next COD will have Spartans. The COD after that will have Space Marines.
-
As if now, it looks like it's copying the basic plot setup, but who knows. Could be a vastly different (probably uninteresting) storyline.
-
Kinda. Seems like a Deus Ex-Titanfall hybrid.

Played deus ex on 360 Didnt manage to finish it because it did not hold my interest at all.

I wouldn't care, if the game sucked, I would probably
