Erm, I'm just gonna say one thing, he can walk on the surface of the sun, he can move atoms, this has been discussed on so many forums and the only thing that can defeat him is Captain Atom. This is no other way to defeat him, he will always regen.

Why couldn't he do it to Goku then. At least, no matter what Goku would do to Dr Manhattan he will just resurrect. He's already done it twice in the comics.

Maybe people misunderstand Dr Manhattan s power. Maybe goku is to OP for Dr Manhattan to manipulate his matter. Who knows. We could only truely find out if their paths ever crossed.
