Scrapp sits at a table, fiddling with an odd steampunk-esque mass of thin pipes.
No... No... That doesn't work-k-k either...

What are you working on? *peeks over*

He turns back to the mass of pipes. Weapon. Beam. Very old model, but I c-c-could use the challenge.

You might need to replace that crystal. That whole section is close to rusted beyond repair, and the firing system looks to be a mess. Good luck, I have confidence in you.
-
C-c-crystal? I have no need for such things. A capacitor will do.
-
... That used to be a capacitor? Holy crap that's busted.
-
...That's the beam chassis... I begin t-t-to wonder why I'm exposing myself to this sheer stupidity. I don't need a c-c-crystal to power the beam; a capacitor will do the job better. Good crystals are hard to find, a c-c-capacitor just needs a little bit of elbow grease and it's good to go. A magnifying glass on the end will put its power on par with typical advanced light beams.
-
Holy crap this thing is really broken. How is it possible for that to split like that?
-
...Just... Leave.

... Ok. *walks away, looking sad*
