Whether he promised it or not, it's irrelevant. In the Terms of Service, which EVERYONE signed when they bought Destiny and/ or its Expansion Pass, it specifically states that Bungie has the right to change future content without consumer consent. So, all in all, get over it. You signed the agreement, don't get your panties in a bunch.
