All instances of resurrection in the DBZ series come from 'outside sources' such as the Dragon Balls being used, or Hatchiyack bringing people back to life only if they have sheer hatred for the Saiyan Race. The latter never being experienced by Goku as he only fought the revived people being dazed over how they're back. Things on the level of flat out self-resurrection have never been personally experienced by Goku. You're thinking of self-regeneration, which characters like Buu used.

You say that's what I'm thinking of? I thought nothing of it... I said the same move never works twice on Goku in a battle. He learns from it as the fight progresses, and uses it to expose his opponents to their weakness. Plus if the warlock self res' then goku just kills him again.
