Doesn't matter, even if Atheon dies there's still millions of copies of him throughout time. Not to mention goku would still be teleported.

And goku can rip through space and time just like gotenks did to get out of the hyperbolic time chamber. Atheon stands zero chances seriously. Do not try to compare any Destiny universe with goku when he can bust solar systems with ease.
