It's way too obvious that you're casting it now. It makes the same sound as Emit Force when you start casting it, so you can't even act like you're healing then surprise them. Usually does around 800-1000 damage though (with Dragon Chime and 50 Faith), but it's purely lightning damage, so Great Magic Barrier or a Watcher's Shield will render it pretty much useless.
