To bad there wasn't a poll option for, "No this is a stupid idea even though I am indeed American."
Anyways, Destiny is a game where most of humanity has came together under one city, meaning in the world of Destiny, there is no United States hence you skin would be pointless and meaningless in the lore of destiny.

It depends on how you look at the poll. Considering there isn't multiple options for every instance I look at the poll and see, Yes we need an American gun skin for the ghorn.(220 votes). This is a yes vote for this poll. Nope, I'm not an american stands with 106 votes which is obviously a no. Then there is the sure IF they add other country skins. This one has 157 votes under the option, I don't really care if they add a skin like that as long as they add other countries. Thus 220 people decided it would be a good idea and 263 people decided that it's a terrible idea(157 of those people are ok with it as long as they add other countries as well.)
