Borderlands universe vs. destiny universe
[b]TO CLARIFY: this ISNT asking what's the better game, or what is more addicting, I'm asking who would win in a all out war, who has better weaponry, fighting, leaders, etc[/b]
A lot of these kind of polls have been popping up so I decided to make one. Which would you choose?

I really enjoy the BL universe, but the lore is strong with Destiny

Its an unequal battle do to the level caps being so different, but if we're just talking straight up i say destiny the guardian can move vertically and horizontally while vault hunters only move horizontally

1 ReplyWell let's see here: base attack stats for endgame weapons in destiny: 331-365 Abilities are pretty decent on most guns....provided they can kill anything in the borderlands universe, unlikely Because.... Base attack stats in borderlands for endgame weapons: 100'000 up into the 6-12'000'000 ranges, and yet it can still take a long time to kill some of the enemies...not only that but the borderlands characters can resist guns with those types of damage output, combined with elemental damage that actually is proper elemental damage... Guardians are -blam!-ed

5 RepliesLvl 72 OP8 Siren with a bee shield, legendary cat class mod, and any SMG preferably a sand hawk and you're talking absolute destruction. Krieg would run around blowing everything up and turning guardians into shiny meat bicycles. Gaige would release death trap and stack anarchy like a billion times. Salvador would duel wield pretty much anything and obliterate anything. Give him the grog nozzle and an unkempt Harold and say goodnight I could keep going but you see where this is going. Borderlands all the way for this guy.

It's funny how you're comparing destiny to a game from old platforms and how many years old. I don't get pissed off playing borderlands like I do in destiny. Borderlands by a mile!

Borderlands has - Actual character development - Actual storyline - Infinitely better loot system - Much more overall content - Better NPCs - Better voice acting - Better backstory - More storyline development - Better DLC for less money - Better overall co-op system - Better boss fights with ACTUAL mechanics not just bullet sponges with names - Better gun variety - Better gun maker variety - Better loot variety overall - Better customization options - Better skill trees - Wider variety of ways to play - Better community/developer interaction - Better HUB to buy/sell - Better merchant system In basically every single category other than graphics and gunplay Borderlands simply outdoes Destiny. And yes I know what the OP said. This is directed at those who skipped the OP or have tried to put down Borderlands

That's the issue. People say destiny and have no reason to do so. Just look at the weapons and shield types in borderlands. Destiny had no chance in a fight. Gally would be a throw away common weapon in bl.

It's hard to say but the implications imposed by the darkness are gigantic. If what is in the grimoire is correct, than the forces that we've seen in the solar system are just the tip of the iceberg. Even single factions of the fallen have galaxial influence.

4 RepliesIn a war? The borderlands universe spans a whole galaxy. Has fleets of warships. Dahl, atlas, Hyperion (they have orbital bombardments)... Also VAULT hunters are as immortal as guardians are.

10 RepliesI think destiny would win cause vex time travel and could finish this war before it began(I don't think borderlands has that ability but I didn't play pre sequel). I also think we are forgetting that the cabal have conquer planets and destroy planets by just being in there way. Also I heard a theory that you can only damage atheon and crota because the guardians have light that's why in destiny there are called light level, And if you guys aren't happy about that which I know you guys and girls aren't because of borderland fandom ward of dawn and golden gun combo. Just my opinion

Well the borderlands characters have a WAYYYY higher damage output and way more health than anything in destiny
