Borderlands universe vs. destiny universe
[b]TO CLARIFY: this ISNT asking what's the better game, or what is more addicting, I'm asking who would win in a all out war, who has better weaponry, fighting, leaders, etc[/b]
A lot of these kind of polls have been popping up so I decided to make one. Which would you choose?

If you havent played borderlands 1, 2, or the pre sequel please give them a shot, they have a great sense of humor, a phenomanal story, and provides loot that will keep you coming for more. The biggest complaint people have is that borderlands cell shading graphics are "bad". The graphics make this game what it is. Please dont bombard a game just because you dont like its graphics. Same with destiny, although destiny has had its rough patches what game hasnt? Its story unfortunately isnt there, but it has a great atmosphere and has a great pve multiplayer. Moral of the story is both games are amazing please dont knock them until youve tried them.

1 ReplyOkay totally off topic but I just played borderlands for the first time a week ago came back to destiny and the destiny graphics look more cartoony to me like the borderlands art style and I can't unsee it has anyone experienced something similar or am I going nuts.

So yeah idk how destiny gets a higher vote, plus a guardian against a max lvl borderlands player... yeah guess who will win.

Instead of damage scaling(what destiny does), the numbers just get bigger. A level 72 Vault Hunter with ~160,000 health could easily take on a level 32 Guardian with ~200 health. Also, a lot of the legendary gear in borderlands have [b][i]VERY[/i][/b] unique and game changing perks. [spoiler]Plus infinite ammo glitch on a Jakob's Quad Shotgun with potentially infinite Evil Smasher stacks and Anarchy class ability melts through health bars faster than you can blink.[/spoiler]

5 RepliesI say destiny for the more serious players, borderlands for people who like to have a good laugh now and then. Borderlands has more variety to weapons but grinding the same boss for those legendaries gets old real fast. As for destiny you can get your exotics/legendary guns in more ways then one (excluding thorn, bad juju etc.) so i feel that gets old less faster then borderlands. I really like both games though and put a lot of time into them lol

Could even throw in Maya in place of Sal for crowd control & healing. Class wise it's no contest. Weapons are of course better (too many to name) but Norfleet over Gally just to give one example. I love both games but I would have to choose Borderlands, easily.
