I played the Beta for three full days this weekend.
After comparing it to the last year I spent playing it on my PC, purchasing it for the consoles is a resounding "Yes" in my opinion.
They adapted the UI for ease and smoothness, combat is fluid and "feels" like you're in combat. The Quests are as deep and numerous as you feel they should be in a game carrying the title of Elder Scrolls, the crafting is well done and requires going out and finding the correct materials (not waiting on RNGesus to gift them to you), the armor and weapons are varied and numerous... it's as great a game as the Pc version has evolved into over the last year, and the connection to the game servers is butter-smooth.
The story is deep and involved, and requires a hint of detective work to get moving in the right direction, but it doesn't hold your hand if you don't want it to. As I said above, there's a massive wealth of Quests, so deviating from the Main Quest and simply heading out to "play the way you want to" and to "live another life, in another world" is alive and well from the single-player series. For an MMO, you are able to move the story along at your own pace. The "Options" menu is full of ways to customize the game to your liking.
In short; this is a great game that Zenimax Online Studios has made, and it's a great adaptation for the consoles. Everyone who is a fan of MMO's, RPG's, and The Elder Scrolls franchise needs to seriously consider purchasing this game for their console of choice.

Anyone know if the console version will feature mouse/keyboard support?
-
Did they fix the multiplayer on it so it is more fluid?
-
Good post dude :)

As someone who plays the Elder Scrolls games primarily for customization and the ability to kinda do whatever I want, does ESO appeal to that kind of player in any way?
-
Would you still recommend it for a predominantly solo player?
-
I can't wait for it but I've got dark souls 2, witches 3, and house of wolves to play until then, the said thing is I don't have the time lol, once I start playing ESO I won't pick up another game till comet comes out most likely
-
I'm sure it's dumbed down just like Skyrim was.
-
Is the combat anything like previous Elder scrolls games?
-
I was on the fence about it, this is good to hear. I will be buying it now.
-
This good to hear

Good to hear. I have never played an ES game, and only recently gotten into MMOs cause of Neverwinter on X1. I'm looking forward to this game.

I've pre-ordered the Imperial Edition for Xbox One. I. Can't. Wait. This review only makes me more antsy. I hope House of Wolves can keep my attention long enough for June to fly by.
-
Great review, looks like you covered everything. I'll definitely take this into consideration when it comes out in June.
-
Bump.

Already pre-ordered buddy, I need something to lose myself in this summer

I played on PC in the beta, has it really changed that much now?
